Refunds & Cancellations
Remaining Balance (not including the deposit):
Refundable only if you cancel with more than 14 days’ notice before your practical training day.
Non-refundable if you cancel within 14 days of the practical training date.
If you cancel inside the 14-day window but still with at least 7 days’ notice, your payment is non-refundable, but we may allow you to move to another available date one time.
Cancellations with 7 days or less before the course date are handled at our discretion and may result in the full course fee being lost.
Non-Attendance
Failure to attend on the day of training will result in the full course fee being forfeited. No refunds or date transfers will be offered under any circumstances.
Tutor Illness, Emergencies & Unforeseen Circumstances
In the rare event that we need to cancel or postpone a course due to tutor illness, emergencies, or circumstances outside of our control (such as severe weather or salon closure), we will offer you an alternative training date.
If we are unable to deliver the course on the scheduled day, your booking will be moved to the next available date. Please note that refunds are not issued in these situations, but your place will always be honoured and rescheduled.
Online Theory Requirements
Some of our training courses require the Beauty Guild online theory to be completed and passed before your practical day. If your course includes at-home theory, you’ll be enrolled once your payment has been received.
You’ll then get an email from The Beauty Guild with your login details and access link. Each module includes a short multiple-choice assessment that must be passed before you attend your practical training.
The Beauty Guild charges a £25 enrolment/theory fee per qualification, paid directly to them.
If you book a package that includes multiple qualifications, you’ll have multiple theory modules, each with its own £25 fee.
If you have any issues with the online theory platform, assessments, or login details, you must contact The Beauty Guild directly, as they manage and support the theory system.
Course Models
Most of our courses require a model so you can complete your practical training.
It is the student’s responsibility to arrange and provide their own model. Your practical session cannot go ahead without one if the course requires it.
For any treatment that needs a patch test (all lash and brow courses), your model must attend the salon for a patch test at least 48 hours before your practical training day.
It is the student’s responsibility to arrange the appointment, ensure the model attends, and confirm the patch test has been carried out.
Patch testing for lash and brow courses is mandatory and non-negotiable.
Accreditation
All of our training courses are fully accredited by The Beauty Guild or ABT (Association of Beauty Therapists).
These are two of the leading accreditation bodies within the beauty industry, recognised by major insurers across the UK.
Accreditation means our courses meet strict industry standards for safety, quality, and professional training.
Once you successfully complete your course, you will be able to obtain professional insurance and begin offering treatments to paying clients.
This ensures your qualification is trusted, recognised, and accepted by insurers and salons nationwide.
Certificates
Certificates are only issued once you have successfully completed the practical training and demonstrated that you are competent in the treatment. If the tutor feels you need additional practice or support before being certified, you may be asked to complete extra case studies or attend further training. Any additional training outside of the scheduled course day may incur an additional fee.
Replacement certificates can be re-issued on request, but an admin fee will apply.
Confirmation Of Booking
Once your payment has been received, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.
This will include your course date, start time, practical day instructions, salon location, parking information, and any remaining balance still due.
If you require an invoice or payment receipt, this can be provided on request.
Please email generationshairbeauty01@gmail.com or generationstrainingacademy@gmail.com at the time of booking or within 12 months of completing your training.
Advanced Courses
Advanced courses have specific entry requirements.
When booking, you must provide proof of the required prior qualification(s) before your place can be confirmed.
If you are unable to supply suitable evidence, your booking will be cancelled, and you will not be able to attend the course.
